A Little About Me...
I grew up in West River South Dakota in a small town, Wall. Maybe you have heard of Wall Drug? :) I attended SSU, now SMSU, and received my Bachelor's Degree in education. I also have my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from SMSU. I have taught 3rd-6th grade during my 25 years of teaching, all here in Slayton. My favorite is 5th grade! I love teaching language arts, history, and art classes. Right now, I concentrate on just language arts. I've also helped with costuming in the theater department and was an assistant speech coach for a few years.

My Top Ten List

1. I am married to Tim the Tool Man...23 years.
2. My son, Logan, is 23 and lives in Sioux Falls.
3. Eden, my 20 year old daughter, is going to cosmetology school.
4. As a family, we love to go on motorcycle trips, eat out, and laugh...a lot.
5. We have had many pets over the years, but now we only have one cat...Moose. IKR!
6. This summer we rode our motorcycle to International Falls, MN and Canada.
7. Something you might not know about me is that I was in rodeos growing up.
8. I love music & concerts! Over the last couple of years we have heard Skillet, Toby Mac, Jamie Grace, Andrea Bocelli, Journey, Loverboy, Pat Benatar, the Zac Brown Band, Kenny Chesney, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
9. I have traveled to Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, Florida, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
I would love to go see the huge redwood forests in California, volcanoes in Hawaii,
and eat pizza in Italy.
10. I love chocolate, Italian and Chinese food, Scrabble, books, movies, shopping, and music.
